"... rather than seeking a resolution to blackness's irresolvable abjection, one might approach black being...as a form of consciousness." -Christina Sharpe
The Black Infinity has three core ways of thinking that drive everything we do. We don't like to think we have the answers, we just try to improve the questions we're asking and check our own motives/assumptions.
1. "How to fix the broken." Trying to build bridges to inclusion by focusing on the un-included.
2. "How to acknowledge." Trying to see people, with and without the eyes. To see their histories and experiences as complex parts of what makes them unique and valid to our human conversation. The practice of truly being present for one another, in body and spirit.
3. "Consider a new perspective." How do we delay judgement of differing points of view to allow for consideration or application of those points containing true merit?
